Group Manager Supplier Monitoring

The Group Manager Supplier Monitoring reports to the Director Supplier Monitoring. You will manage the Supply Quality Managers, Inspectors and Inspection Coordinators in his team on a day-to-day basis.
You are responsible in general for the professional and cost efficient management of all projects related Supplier Monitoring activities for project assigned to be to be executed with his staff.
You will be responsible for the establishment, safeguarding and development of the required know-how and know-why of the personnel and carries out the yearly appraisal of his team members.
You will create a successful team culture and is responsible to identify over/under capacity of his team for appropriate counter-measures.    

You would have about 7 - 12 years of experience with a technical degree, and ideally, from a similar industry. You would have the right leadership traits, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate team building and coaching. You would be familiar with Engineering, Manufacturing and Logistics processes. You would have good understanding of technical requirements of various norms such as DIN, ANSI, NDT, welding and the like. You would also have the professional experience in QA/QC, expediting, leading shop floor activities and engineering.
